Kachik Support

Kachik is a camera app that lets you build your own look and reuse it, with colour palettes drawn from places across India, year-inspired styles, optional visual accidents, and a private roll. This page is here to help you get the most out of it and to reach us if something is wrong.

Contact us

You can also reach both from inside the app, in Settings under Feedback. When you email us from there, the app version, your iOS version, and your iPhone model are included automatically so we can help faster. We usually reply within a few business days.

Quick answers

How do the looks work? Pick a Colour and a Year together, then fine-tune with Your Mix (warmth, depth, contrast, and palette strength). Save any combination as a Signature and reuse it in a tap. Use Year Off to compare the colour without the era, and Original to compare without the recipe.

Where do the location suggestions come from? Tap the location button and Kachik suggests nearby palettes based on your approximate location. If nothing is nearby, the full catalogue is still available to browse. Location is optional, is never attached to your photos, and is never uploaded.

What is Flash Burst? Flash Burst grabs a short burst and keeps the sharpest frame. It is a preview-based capture, not Live Photos.

What is Misclick? Misclick adds one optional visual accident, such as a light leak or a cracked-lens effect. It is a visual treatment only. It does not damage your file, and your originals stay clean.

Can I turn off the watermark? Yes. The Kachik watermark is on by default for finished photos and can be turned off in Settings. Your originals and any RAW files are never watermarked.

Does Kachik shoot ProRAW? On iPhones that support it, yes. The original file is kept untouched alongside your photo.

Where are my photos saved? Kachik keeps a private roll inside the app with your original intact. Save to Photos and Share are separate actions, so nothing is saved or posted without you choosing to.

Do I need an account? No. Kachik has no account and no sign-up. It opens straight to the camera.

Privacy
